Anderson Romero


Anderson Romero has performed throughout the United States, South America, and Europe. Dr. Romero is Assistant Professor of Trumpet in the School of Music & Dance at Eastern Michigan University and Second/Assistant Principal Trumpet of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. He served as Adjunct Trumpet Faculty at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2020. Romero has given recitals and master classes at institutions in the U.S. and abroad. He also served as acting utility trumpet with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for their 2017–18 season and was the principal trumpet with the Tatuí Symphony Orchestra (Brazil) in 2009. Anderson has performed with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Sao Paulo State Symphony Orchestra, The Atlanta Opera, Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra, Meridian Symphony Orchestra, Theatro Sao Pedro Symphony Orchestra (Brazil), University of Sao Paulo Symphony Orchestra (Brazil), and Ensemble Opera Nova Zürich (Switzerland).
